Mon, 1 September, 2014: 1 GRASSHOPPER WARBLER – picking through bushes as you ascend WC mound from WC lagoons, on left-hand side, near to bushes with red Maple-like leaves and red berries. Showed twice, one very well but couldn’t relocate after 12.59pm. (first for the year and first record since 2009). Also 1 COMMON WHITETHROAT. Matt Farmer
